Taste of The SLC

We are so excited to showcase the diverse talent, creativity, and enthusiasm of the Ryerson community at Taste of The SLC 2019.

Bring your appetite to the SLC on April 4th and 5th from 10 AM – 4 PM as bakers, chefs and decorators offer a selection of tasty treats!

Thursday, April 4th

  • Clarisse Aguila – I specialize in cupcakes, cakesicles, shortbread cookies, and small cakes
  • COCO XO, by Quest Atkinson – Chocolate Confections
  • Natalia Herrera – “Doritos in a bag” or “The explosive chips”. The idea is to offer either doritos or the regular tortilla chips with a variety of toppings, such as vegetables, salsas, guac, etc
  • Aisha, by Aisha Gill – Baked goods (cupcakes, cake pops etc.)
  • Anjie’s Sweet Corner, by Anjali Taheem – Baked Goods; cupcakes, cheesecake cups, cookies & puff pastries
  • Bespoke Bakes by Kate, by Emily and Katie Kuchta – Handmade baked goods and chocolate bonbons
  • Shanshan – Homemade chocolate chip cookies and macarons
  • Forget me Knots, by Annabelle Dot Carreiro – Small, home made, soft pretzels
  • 5 Bakers, by Tamara Urushadze – Eastern European Cookies called “Pryanik”
  • Katherine Noitsis – We will have Greek Koulouria (bread), Greek Koulourakia (Greek cookies), and Frappe which is Greek iced coffee
  • Feldos Pastry Shop, by Oreoluwa Adesola – Pastry snacks

Friday, April 5th:

  • True Leaf Microgreens, by Brooke Williams – Microgreens (Pea shoots, red radish sprouts, basil)
  • COCO XO, by Quest Atkinson – Chocolate Confections
  • Whole On Life,by Britany Kasjak – Energy Balls
  • Joly Biscotti, by Chris Joly – Homemade Biscotti
  • MWL Pastries, by Nicole Villamor – Baked goods ranging from cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, French Macarons, cakepops.
  • Mir’s Morsels, by Mirieta – Protein and energy bites
  • Blair Mignotte Smith – Sustainable packaged locally sourced Afro-Carribean cuisine
  • Sukoon Hirani – Indian Chatt
  • Fait à Maison – by Lili Tran – We are selling home cooked meals. Our menu includes, mac and cheese, broccoli cheddar soup and chicken cutlet sandwiches.
  • Goma’s Crew, by Lucy Liu – Bakery products. Cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and dumplings.
  • Ryerson Fencing – Crepe Menu: Cheese n’ Chicken, Ricotta Spinach Mushroom, Nutella, Banana/Strawberry, Basic- Nutella and/or Jam , Whip Cream opt.
  • Bakies, by Shelisa Ward – Baked Goods and catering services.
