In the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving my mind had often been preoccupied with thoughts of all the things I am grateful for. One of the things I am most thankful for this year is the Student Learning Centre (SLC), as a student I am proud to study in the 21st Century Library that the SLC and Ryerson University Library and Archives (RULA) create together. As a Specialist and member of the Creative Team, I am thankful for the opportunities I have been presented. While thinking about this, I decided to sit down with other community members and learn why they are thankful for the SLC.
“I’m thankful that the SLC gives me a variety of places to study and hangout because it gives me a choice of what to do while I’m in between classes.” – Alex, Student Specialist, 4th year Philosophy major
